    DATA
    LIVE mode
TraVis LIVE mode shows flights to and from London Luton Airport with a 3-hour-delay. When you start the application, the LIVE mode mode will commence automatically.
    REPLAY mode
TraVis REPLAY mode shows archived flight and noise data from London Luton Airport - the system supplies data for the last two months. To load data, select a date and time and press the play button - the system can be paused and continued using the pause button. You can increase the replay speed in the box provided or by using the two arrow buttons.
Switch between LIVE and REPLAY mode
You can change the current mode by using the LIVE or REPLAY button. The selected mode will be entered by pushing the play button, which starts the data update.
    Weather Data
In the weather data box you see the weather conditions at the airport at the time selected. The system shows the timestamp of the current weather report and weather data such as temperature, humidity, precipitation, wind speed and wind direction. The weather data is refreshed each 30 minutes.
    Flight Noise Events
Flight related noise events and ambient noise levels are shown in REPLAY mode only. It takes some time to correlate flights with noise events and therefore noise data is not available in LIVE mode.
    Selected Object
You can get detailed information about a certain flight or noise monitoring terminal by clicking onto it. The details will be shown in the lower section of the data box.
    SETUP
The Setup panel offers a list of settings. These settings help you to make the system match your personal needs. You can change the visibility of objects and additional data.

    Measuring Points / Noise Levels
If the measured noise level is below the start or stop threshold the measuring point is shown as a green circle . If the level is above the threshold, the station is shown as a yellow circle . If the level is identified as part of a flight noise event, the station is painted orange . The results of the flight noise event calculation are visible only in the TraVis REPLAY mode for days in the past.
If a measuring device is out of order, it is painted in green without a value inside the circle. A station is painted in red when the level is above 90 dB(A). This happens for example when the noise terminal is calibrated.
A grey measuring point indicates a downtime of the station, e.g. caused by bad weather conditions. For these downtimes no noise events will be calculated.
If you click on a measuring point, you can see detailed information about the station in the bottommost part of the data box on the left side.
    Length of flight tracks
All flights are shown with an aircraft symbol and a track line, which marks the course of this flight. You can adjust the length of these tracks in the setup area. The red lines show the tracks of arriving flights, the green lines the tracks of departing flights.
    Time
Due to technical reasons the TraVis LIVE mode shows the data with a delay of 3 hours. The system time is local time at London Luton Airport.
